Stated plainly, because people bring sensitive questions to a legal tool.
We store the name, email address, description and note you send, and the network address the request came from. The address is there to limit abuse of the form. We use the rest to decide on access and to reply to you. We do not sell it or pass it to anyone for marketing.
We store your question and the brief produced from it. To produce the brief, your question is sent to the AI model providers that draft and review it, and search terms drawn from it are sent to CourtListener to find opinions. A brief is reachable by anyone who has its link, so treat the link as you would the document.
Do not include names, case numbers or other identifying details in a question. The research does not need them, and leaving them out is the strongest protection there is.
The site sets a cookie only when a form needs one to work. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party script on any page — the site's security policy does not allow scripts at all.
Reply to any email you have received from us and ask. We will delete what we hold about you.
